The remit of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region were defined by the Grand Ducal Decree of 5 December 2018 on the constitution of the Ministries.

In order to continue to raise awareness among health professionals about the COVID-19 vaccination, the Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, and the Minister for Family Affairs and Integration, Corinne Cahen, have launched an additional vaccination campaign targeting all professionals in contact with vulnerable people.
Between July 19th and July 21st, the Minister for Family Affairs and Integration, Corinne Cahen, visited Bonnevoie, Wasserbillig, Ettelbrück and Zolwer to present the findings and recommendations of a study on the structure and needs of municipal consultative commissions for integration (CCCI).
After a first vaccination campaign for the homeless on 1 and 2 June 2021 at the "Wanteraktioun" premises, said campaign by the mobile teams of the Directorate of Health was been extended in order to reach a maximum number of people in very precarious situations who, for health reasons, geographical distance or other reasons, were unable to visit the "Wanteraktioun" premises.
Following a call for project proposals launched by the Department of Integration of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, the interministerial committee on integration selected 10 projects, promoting integration in Luxembourg, for funding.
On July 6th 2021, Corinne Cahen, Minister for Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, discussed by phone with Clément Beaune, Secretary of State of the French Republic in charge of European Affairs, the preparation of the 6th meeting of the French-Luxembourgish Intergovernmental Commission for the Strengthening of Cross-border Cooperation (CIG).
As part of the pilot project for the new "Communal Integration Plan" (PCI), the municipality of Junglinster is the latest to sign the "Pakt vum Zesummeliewen" with the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region and Syvicol.
