Following a call for project proposals launched by the Department of Integration of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, the interministerial committee on integration selected 10 projects, promoting integration in Luxembourg, for funding.

On July 6th 2021, Corinne Cahen, Minister for Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, discussed by phone with Clément Beaune, Secretary of State of the French Republic in charge of European Affairs, the preparation of the 6th meeting of the French-Luxembourgish Intergovernmental Commission for the Strengthening of Cross-border Cooperation (CIG).

As part of the pilot project for the new "Communal Integration Plan" (PCI), the municipality of Junglinster is the latest to sign the "Pakt vum Zesummeliewen" with the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region and Syvicol.

After the success of the first virtual edition of the "Groupe d'échange et de soutien en matière d'intégration au niveau local" (GRESIL) in January 2021, the second virtual information event took place on 30 June 2021.

On 21 June 2021, minister for Family Affairs and Integration, Corinne Cahen, digitally took part, in the Conference launching the European Platform on Combatting Homelessness, organised in Lisbon by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European Commission and the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless (FEANTSA).

How widespread is racism and ethno-racial discrimination in Luxembourg? Which groups of people are mainly targeted? In which contexts and situations do residents perceive discriminatory acts and treatment? Where and how can action be taken to combat these issues?

On 1 and 2 June 2021, a vaccination session was organised for homeless people at the "Wanteraktioun" premises.

In accordance with Luxembourg's vaccination strategy, the first residents of retirement homes were vaccinated against COVID-19 on 6 January 2021.
