Foundation stone laid for new CIPA in Eischen

On 15 November, the foundation stone for the new Integrated Centre for the Elderly (CIPA) of the operator HPPA a.s.b.l. was laid in Eischen, on the former football field, a few metres from the Belgian border.

With a capacity of 164 beds, the new facility in Eischen, in the municipality of Hobscheid, will meet the demand for housing for the elderly in the west of the country. According to the current planning, the new CIPA in Eischen is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2023.

In her speech, the minister warmly thanked the municipality of Hobscheid, which initiated the project, and the managing body HPPA a.s.b.l. for its commitment and continuous efforts to provide care for the elderly.

In total, HPPA a.s.b.l. manages 7 residential facilities for the elderly in Luxembourg with a total of 897 beds.
