Day Care Structures

The Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region has signed conventions for day care structures to support homeless people or those threatened by social exclusion.

The Vollekskichen in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie

The "Vollekskichen" offers meals at moderate prices and is also a meeting place for isolated people. The "Vollekskichen" also offers work placement services to unemployed people and is run by the Comité National de Défense Sociale (CNDS).

It is open all year, 7 days a week

The Téistuff in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie

La Téistuff, located within the Foyer Ulysse, is a day centre for disadvantaged and/or homeless people offering educational and leisure activities, as well as occasional assistance (listening, advice).

The Téistuff, managed by Caritas Accueil et Solidarité a.s.b.l., is open all year, 7 days a week. It is reserved for residents of the Centre Ulysse night shelter.

“Para-Chute",  Social and Orientation Centre at the Luxembourg Central Railway Station

Since 2018, the Para-Chute service has been located at Luxembourg City's central railway station. It is a low-threshold day centre for people wandering around the Luxembourg central station. The Para-Chute is a safe environment where people are welcomed and provided with orientation services by social workers. The project is supported by the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the City of Luxembourg and the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region.
